My target audience is the average middle-age man or woman who is just getting used to the computers of today. They have just began to get their hands on new technology and have yet to grasp all of the technical details of how to handle them. We will assume that the audience has a very very general knowledge of computers and cameras and will focus how to utilize them both. For this we will call them Mr. and Mrs. Apple.
In her spare time Mrs. Apple usually enjoys sitting around her small country home watching t.v. and petting her small dog. She of course does this after her chores and cleaning is finished, and usually while dinner is in the oven or cooking slowly on the stove. Mr. Apple is much the same. When he is not running around helping family members and friends with random little tasks (such as fixing a hole in a wall or mowing a lawn), he is lying in his warm bed surrounded by his loyal dog(s) and watching his favorite t.v. shows. Both Mr. and Mrs. Apple lead simple lives and rarely are found out on the town or enjoying an evening of games.
Their children have moved out and left the two of them with all the new technology that came with the times. Though their computer and camera are outdated they are completely oblivious to the fact and simple let the dust collect. On occasion Mr. Apple has found interest in the machine to the simplist level, playing solitare and surfing eBay. Mrs. Apple however, has began to try to learn more; exploring email and instant messengers.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Apple are showing interest in their computer and have also began to use the digital camera lying around. The one thing that they are having the most dificulty with is discovering how to transfer their favorate images from the camera onto their computer and then onto paper. |
