Interaction Design for Education
Transferring Photos to your Computer from your Camera : Task Analysis

  1. Turn on computer.
  2. Log into personal settings.
  3. Gather camera and usb cable.
  4. Insert cable into corresponding slot on camera.
  5. Insert other end of cable into computer usb port.
  6. Turn on camera.
  7. Wait for the camera/scanner wizard window to appear on screen.
  8. If given a list full of options, choose microsoft scanner and camera wizard and click ok.
  9. Choose which photos to download or select all at the lower right side of the window.
  10. Click next.
  11. Type a name for your photos.
  12. Click browse and select a location to save your photos.
  13. Click the small white square to delete your photos off of the camera when finished.
  14. Click next.
  15. Watch the screen as the photos begin to download to the computer.
  16. Click nothing on other options window.
  17. Click next.
  18. Click finish.
  19. Turn off camera.
  20. Unplug cable from computer.
  21. Unplug cable from camera.
  22. Put cable and camera away to their designated places.
  23. Open folder that contains photos.
  24. View photos.
  25. Enjoy!
